Your data stays yours.

CometAI is a private, local-first financial-planning application. It helps you organize upcoming payments and incoming money. It does not move money or provide financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.

Data stored on your device

CometAI stores the information you enter—including your name, activities, amounts, dates, categories, notes, budget, currency, and reminder preferences—in the app’s local database on your device. You can use the app without creating an account.

Advertising and analytics

CometAI has no advertising, behavioral analytics, telemetry, or cross-app tracking SDK. We do not sell personal information. If you use the app without signing in, the financial entries you create remain on your device and are not sent to To Infy.

Optional account, backup, and sync

If you choose to sign in with email, Google, or Apple, CometAI processes the account information needed to authenticate you, such as your email address, user identifier, and sign-in provider. It sends eligible app data to To Infy’s service so that data can be backed up and synchronized across your signed-in devices. Synced data may include activities, amounts, dates, categories, notes, budget, currency, and app preferences. Google, Apple, and your email provider process sign-in information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Purchases and RevenueCat

Apple or Google processes payments under the applicable store terms. CometAI uses RevenueCat to display purchase options, validate purchases, restore purchases, and manage entitlements. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier, device and operating-system information, and purchase or subscription records such as an Apple receipt or Google purchase token. It does not receive the financial entries you create in CometAI. CometAI does not use this information for advertising or cross-app tracking.

If you choose Export backup, CometAI creates a JSON file and opens your device’s system share sheet. You decide where that file is sent or saved, and the selected destination may process it under its own privacy policy. If you choose Restore backup, the selected file is read locally and imported into the on-device database.

Notifications

CometAI requests notification permission only after you choose to enable reminders. Reminder content and schedules are generated locally. You can disable reminders in the app or in system settings at any time.

Service providers

To Infy uses service providers only to deliver features you choose, including authentication, optional backup and sync, and purchase management. They may process data only for those purposes and must protect it consistently with this policy and applicable law. Their own privacy policies also apply to their services.

Retention, consent, and deletion

Local data remains on your device until you edit or delete it, delete all local data from CometAI Settings, uninstall the app, or erase the device. Android cloud backup is disabled for the app. Before replacing or resetting a device, save an exported backup if you want to retain your entries. If you chose account-based sync, signing out or deleting local data does not by itself remove the synchronized copy. You can withdraw from sync by signing out. Contact us at support@toinfy.app to request deletion of your account and synchronized data. Purchase records may be retained by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat as required for transaction validation, legal compliance, and fraud prevention.

Children

CometAI is a general-audience financial organizer and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly create accounts for or collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date will be updated. We will also update the applicable App Store privacy details and Google Play Data safety declaration when data practices change.
